It was on September 14th, 2018 that Tammy and Jordan tied the knot in Newton Stewart, Scotland. Their ceremony was held at Penninghame Parish Church a wonderful wedding ceremony venue.
I visited Jordan and his groomsmen across town to photograph the wedding rings.
The bridesmaids were helping Tammy with hair and makeup all morning on the other side of Newton Stewart before helping her into her elegant wedding dress.
Tammy's father arrived to take her to the church, shortly after a quietly emotional first look, he surprised Tammy with a present. A horse drawn carriage! Her bridesmaids had to quickly dry her tears of joy as it was soon time to set off.
Feelings of excitement had calmed down, and Tammy and her bridesmaids were ready to go. A beautiful horse-drawn carriage took Tammy and her father through the streets of Newton Stewart to Penninghame Parish Church for her wedding.
Family and friends of both Tammy and Jordan eagerly waited her arrival. Arriving to Penninghame Parish Church in style on the horse-drawn carriage. Once dismounted the bridesmaids lead the way down the aisle before she linked arms with her father and given away.
Rev Edward Lyons conducted a beautiful marriage service, some prayers and songs proceeded the exchange of the couple's wedding rings and a blessing. There was laughter and happy faces throughout the couple's exchange of wedding rings, a wonderful moment.
Tammy and Jordan walked out of Penninghame Parish Church with happy faces, they'd done it, they were now, the new Mr & Mrs Rennie!
People from the area were at the church boundary eagerly anticipating seeing them walk over the threshold together.
The newlywed couple stood thanking their guests as they filed out of Penninghame Parish Church, this moment was documented beautifully with the trail of Tammy's wedding dress behind. Candid photos like this one are often among my personal favourites.
A good handful of coins were tossed into the air, prompting children to scramble and collect as many as possible. After taking some formal family photos, we showered the newlyweds with confetti to wish them good luck as they prepared to leave the church grounds together.
Tammy and Jordan walked through a shower of confetti before boarding the horse drawn carriage, to be taken to their venue at The Crown Hotel in Newton Stewart for their wedding reception.
One last photo opportunity to photograph the happy couple cuddled up in the horse drawn carriage at Penninghame Parish Church.
